“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
Matthew 6:33
The above scripture says it all. I believe that sets the tone.
Restoring Your Voice is kingdom of God focused and therefore focused on the Christian only.
Restoring Your Voice was birthed because there is a lack of equipping/discipling in the American Church. Far too many Christians might attend church at most as part of being a Christian, but that’s as far as it goes. Yet, there are 27 books in the New Testament full of commands for the Christian.
Restoring Your Voice has a three-fold mandate:
Restore Your Voice.
Prepare you for the return of Jesus Christ.
Equip you for the good works of Christ until He returns.
Let me explain in more detail each one.
Restore Your Voice.
I firmly believe, according to the Bible, that every Christian has been given a God-given voice to use.
He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.
Colossians 1:28
The above verse perfectly sums up our God-given voice. Yet, because of various things, Christians have lost their voice. Maybe they were on fire but went to a legalistic church, or maybe a traumatic event happened. It could be their voice became polluted by a compromised church or lifestyle.
Regardless of what happened, they need their God-given voice restored.
Prepare you for the return of Jesus.
Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.
Revelation 1:3
The Bible puts a strong emphasis on the return of Jesus. The New Testament authors lived with the expectation that Jesus would return. Yet, there is so little emphasis on this or emphasis on escaping.
Jesus is coming back for a bride without spot or blemish. Most of the American church has no idea what that looks like.
Most of the American church has no idea of the great tribulation all saints will have to endure one day. We need to live in light of this. If we don’t prepare when things are easy, we won’t be ready when things get difficult.
Equip you for the good works of Christ until He returns.
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Ephesians 4:11-13
I take the above passage of scripture seriously. I am called as a prophet and pastor, which means I have a God-given responsibility to my fellow saints.
Equipping or training is not supposed to be easy. It is supposed to be difficult.
Notice the word οἰκοδομὴν - build up.
metaph. edifying, edification 2a) the act of one who promotes another's growth in Christian wisdom, piety, happiness, holiness
This is used in describing the five-fold ministry and its purpose. As a prophet & pastor, that is what I aim to do through Restoring Your Voice.
Promote your growth in Christian wisdom, piety, happiness, and holiness.
This was your introduction to Restoring Your Voice. I am honored that you have chosen to be a part of it.
I look forward to ministering to you.
