I want you to take a look at the following quotes:
“One would expect that the Jews would know better after the Holocaust. Apparently not....”
“Israel will give the excuse that they told them to leave and pretend that makes them right or just in some manner. Killing civilians in a military conflict is a war crime.”
“when you kid gets expelled from over 100 schools, it must be the schools that hate your kid irrationally. your kid is perfect and can do no wrong”
“Will the Jews ever come to the understanding of why this is happening to them Over and over. I remember trying in good faith to explain and the person just got angry and started shouting and insulting me before I could even finish.”
The above quotes are taken from various individuals from Twitter, now known as X. The one thing they all have in common is hatred for Jews and Israel. The above quotes are not even the tip of the proverbial iceberg. They are also the tamer quotes.
Then there is this from Andrew Torba:
That is in response to something Dr. Michael Brown said.
The worst thing about those quotes? The people actually think they are on the side of God, professing Christians, with quotes blaming the Holocaust and other atrocities committed against the Jews on the Jews. Friends, that is like trying to blame women who get raped on women or blaming children for pedophilia. It is that satanic.

Let me say that nothing brings out the demonic in people quite like Israel and the Jews. That’s not to say all people, of course, but there are plenty. In fact, there is a large number of self-proclaiming Christians that demons manifest in. The sad fact? Many of us put up with it readily enough.

Deitrich Bonhoeffer
This quote by German theologian and pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer in response to the Jewish Hatred in Nazi Germany. The very same satanic hatred we see today is growing at an exponential rate. We see similar behavior patterns in the American Church that was in the churches in Nazi Germany—the failure to stand against antisemitism.
Just like when the German Lutheran Church allowed the Nazis to take over by doing nothing, we in the American Church are doing the exact same thing.
The very same path that the Church in Nazi Germany followed is the exact same one much of the Church in America is following.

A Policy of Zero-Tolerance
So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
James 4:17
God tells us here that if we know the right thing to do and fail to do it, we are sinning. Yes, it is that serious when we tolerate antisemitism. You may think I am being radical and overzealous in what I am saying. Let’s look at what God has to say:
But examine all things; hold fast to what is good. Stay away from every form of evil.
1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 (NET)
And again:
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?
2 Corinthians 6:14-15
Here is another:
As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.
Titus 3:10-11
Plenty more scriptures across the Bible tell us not to tolerate evil in our midst. If you are reading this, I dearly hope you believe antisemitism is evil. Since antisemitism is evil, why are so many tolerating it and the people associated with it? Why are so many Christians living in sin?
If God commands us what to do and we decide for whatever reason not to obey, we are living in sin until we obey. If we think we can partially obey God, for instance, speaking against antisemitism yet tolerating antisemitic people, we are disobeying God and living in sin.
We need to have God’s policy on antisemitism, a zero-tolerance policy.
How Do We Practically Apply This?
I’m sure some of you are wondering how we can put this into practice. Many of you may be raising objections that this is unloving. You are shouting about how everyone deserves a chance. Then, I urge you to reread the scriptures above. Here is one more:
among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.
1 Timothy 1:20
The first step is for church leaders to speak out against antisemitism. Church leaders are supposed to set an example for other Christians to follow. If we are not speaking out or clear about antisemitism, then we cannot expect those we minister to do so.
Of course, if the church leaders are antisemitic, we have another massive problem. It is up to the congregants to be discerning and have nothing to do with those leaders. I will get to the congregants shortly.
The church leaders are also not to tolerate antisemitic people. According to God, if the church member is antisemitic, given chances to repent, and refuses, they are excommunicated. See Matthew 18:15-20 for more.
This brings us to the congregants since church discipline starts with fellow congregants.
“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.”
Matthew 18:15
This is honestly how any problems within a church should be handled. Some may not know the beliefs they hold are antisemitic, and by confronting them in love, you may be the catalyst that helps them to repent. We can hope for that.
Unfortunately, many will go the other way and double down on their antisemitism. When that is the case, there isn’t anything we can do but hand them over to satan and pray for their salvation.
Of course, for that to happen, we have to have the biblical zero-tolerance policy.
We cannot tolerate this on social media. That we block, ban, and mute people. We don’t argue with them day after day after day. That would be living in disobedience.
Let’s Clean House
Summed up, when we do nothing about antisemitism, we allow it to grow and flourish. It’s no different than if we refused to clean our house. Mold, dust, dirt, grime, and more would continue to build up. Pretty soon, we would become sick with different ailments. Regardless of the medical aid we receive, we won't get any better because we are just going back into filth.
This is what the American Church is like. Some of us go to church; we will say a hospital for this illustration. But we go back to fellowshipping with antisemitic people, whether in person or online. We go to a church that promotes and teaches antisemitism, such as supersessionism/replacement theology (watch here for more) or even worse. In other words, we are living in sickness.
We must be willing, to be honest with ourselves by reading the Bible and examining ourselves in that mirror. Then, we must be willing to obey and make the necessary changes. It may require radical and painful changes in us. I assure you, it is well worth it to follow the Jewish Messiah Jesus.
It is easy to see how the flames of antisemitism are stoked every day by media of all sources, schools, and the corporate work environments.
No doubt the word of God has fallen out of favor for many in the world today. Therefore as believers in and disciples of Jesus Christ we must diligently go forward with proclaiming the gospel anywhere the Lord leads us.
