Dear David---- i wholeheartedly agree cessationism must cease because no where in the bible does
it say it will cease upon the cannonization of the bible....that is what i was taught in 1 Cor ch. 13 "when
that which perfect comes"...even context gives far more evidencial credence when Christ returns and "then we shall see face to face"...this is not imagery nor can i find any evidence it is to be taken as such...God clearly exhorts all believers to "test all things and hold fast to that which is good"....and Acts 17 Holy Spirit literally calls the Berean people of more noble character for they listen to what is being preached but they searched the scriptures to see if its true?....primarily we test all communication as being from God according to His Holy Scriptures....so i left a cessationist church because they attempted to coerce me to receive the answer to my question by some test that was out of doctrinal scriptural bounds...thank you for your work , sincerely your friend Robert Bass
